I have been playing with plaster lately to construct some of my most recent work. To construct the first layer I glue together pieces of tar paper to create an interesting composition. I then lay down sheets of plaster and wet them to stick. On top of that I use various fabrics to create the last layer of the ground.

Currently I am experimenting with transparent caulk to transfer various works of images. Once the caulk is fully dry (about 1 week to dry) I then mix 75% polyurethane and 25% mineral spirits to wipe down the caulk images to give it a yellow vintage tint.
